Latest News: The new Moto Z2 Play smartphone is all set to be unveiled today by Motorola. There were a lot of rumours and leakes about the smartphone but now the company has confirmed the Z2 Play’s launch. The company announced the launch of the phone on its social media handle. The specifications of Moto Z2 Play are also doing the rounds on the internet.
No rumours about the price of the Z2 Play have been made but based on the specifications and design making the rounds on the internet, it is assumed that the handset will cost more than their Moto Z Play that was launched last year. Moto Z Play was priced at Rs. 24,999 so the Moto Z2 Play is expected to launch at a higher price or at around the same price.
Motorola announced the launch of the new smartphone on its Twitter handle. The phone will be launched on the same platform on June 1 that is today but as to when the smartphone will arrive in the market is yet to be known.
Specification of the Moto Z2 Play are as follows: recent reports suggest that the phone will be compatible with ‘Moto Snaps’ and will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor. It will have a 5.5 inch full HD display with a 3000mAh battery. It will also support fast charging. The rear camera will be a 12MP auto focus camera with a dual-LED flash. It will have a 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage along with a fingerprint sensor.
